I have a 2006 Honda Shadow Spirit- tha manual said the oil capacity is 2.5 qts, but when i recently changed it and replaced the filter the oil level was too low..does anyone know if the capacity of 2.5 qts incls an oil filter change too? Also, is there any type of oil . The Honda manual for the Spirit 750 calls for 16.9oz, that's if you've got all the oil out of the entire fork, not just sucking the oil out the top w/the fork still on the bike.
