KLM's 777-200 vs 777-300. I just returned from a AMS - SIN / KUL - AMS return in economy class. The outbound flight was on a B777-200 and was fine. I slept quite well and seat comfort seemed reasonable. The return, however, was on a completely full B777-300 and was a disaster. Seat comfort seemed to be much worse, and the aisle was so narrow 3/ yes, the 200 doesn't need the extra tail strike protection so reverts to a typical bogie setup with Toe Down. 4/ on the standard 777-200/200 LR and 300 the Toe Down ensures all 4 wheels will de-rotate and contact the ground quickly after touchdown even with the nose high, for better braking traction etc I guess. Regarding passenger capacity, the A350 can seat between 315 and 369 passengers in a typical two-class configuration. The maximum capacity for the two variants, the -900 and the -1000, is 440 and 480, respectively. Boeing advertises the 777X as seating up to 384 on the 777-8 and 426 on the 777-9 in a two-class configuration. . Passanger capacity in standard 3-class layout for widebodies and 2-class for narrowbodies (including A300, A310). While the stretched 787-9 beats out 777-200,-200ER, and -300 Classics with an impressive fuel range of 14,010 km, this isn’t enough to match 777-200LR’s range level. In terms of speed, Boeing 787 cruises slightly faster than its predecessor, 777. The biggest difference between the 767-300 and the 777-200 (and the reason for our ranking) is the cabin configuration. On the 767-300, you’ll find staggered seats in a 1-2-1 configuration, each of which have direct aisle access, as shown here: Austrian Airlines 767-300 business class seat map.
