I have had a reply from Citroen today offering 70% off parts covering the tank but not the injector. Still waiting on Stoneacres of Wrexham to get back to me with full cost but donāt know if itās worth pursuing for more or if this will be the final offer. Is there any further actions that could be taken. I have a 2016 C4 Cactus on 44,000 miles.
Hi I'm in the same boat, I've had my Citroƫn C4 Picasso 1.6 blue hdi 2016 for 3 mths, 87k on clock. Never owned a car with Adblue before. Started at the weekend with loads of white smoke when I was reversing onto my drive, hubby investigated and said it stunk of ammonia and white sooty.

The retail of the Urea tank is Ā£1391 and the injector another Ā£170, so that's about Ā£1600 without labour and coding etc.

If your adblue injector is putting too much adblue into the system it is likely to have damaged the NOX sensor which will produce faults similar to yours. J. To cut a long story short, I drained my adblue tank to a manageable weight (drain plug on right hand side - looking from the back). Removed three nuts and dropped the tank. Disconnected the wiring harness for 30 secs and bashed the cover of the pump with a rubber mallet. Rechecked with Diagbox, cleared the faults. Communications restored.
